A New Day, a Different Decade

I can't believe I forgot to blog about a certain special someone yesterday... (drum roll please...) Milo! My Jack Russel puppy who just turned a year old! Whether he's nibbling at my shoes, hopping in excitement when I come home from school, or sleeping on his back in a crazy position, Milo's personality never fails to please. Don't you just love people like that; no matter what time of year or situation they are in, you can always count on them to have a smile on their face? It's pretty sad that my best friend, who's exactly like that, has been in another country for about a month now =[ . But hey, there's no point in being depressed about such a fact, especially considering that she'll be back soon ^.^ . To take my mind off of a few things, I recently brought the Journey: Greatest Hits album. There's nothing like a little bit of Journey to make you feel epic again. Along with the Journey album, I also listened to about 3 different Dean Martin CD's, and wow, I mean WOW. Dean Martin's music is so free spirited and intellectual; it's quite riveting. The music industry today has become...how can I put this lightly, a boatload of crap? Yeah, that pretty much sums it up. I wonder why some people tell me that I should have been born in a different time period... is that true? I've always been told that I'm mature for my age, well, at least by the adults who I seem most mature too. What an interesting remark...
